Hello from the middle of Nebraska! I’m so excited to be part of the 4C Ministry Institute Team! The need is great for a creative effective way to equip and prepare sustainable ministry leaders! People need Jesus more than anything and we must find ways to be His disciples and share His amazing love and grace.
I grew up in the small town of Wymore, Nebraska. God’s love for me became evident through a friend, her family, and the church (people) there. I chose Him as my savior at the age of 11. My home church provided funds for me to attend Nebraska Christian College. I attended the community college and received a business degree. Nebraska Christian College provided a great place to grow my faith and life long friends who keep me grounded in Him. I fell in love and married my wonderful husband Scott Jones who was called into ministry.
Scott and I have served God together in Phoenix, Arizona, Arapahoe, Nebraska and currently we are privileged to serve in Grand Island, Nebraska at Third City Christian Church. We have been here 27 years. I’ve watched God work in many areas of ministry including children’s, youth, women’s, and leadership.
Scott and I had the adventure of raising two boys and a girl and watching them find wonderful spouses. We are thankful to enjoy the antics and joys of 5 grandboys- one in Grand Island, two in Kansas City, and two in Chicago.
Besides the hats of wife, mom, grandma, ministry servant, ministry coordinator, ministry leader, I have worked as a school secretary, and public school HR assistant. After serving the schools for 25 years, I recently took an early retirement. God opened the doors to serve Him through 4C Ministry Institute in Nebraska.
As I said, I’m very excited to be part of this incredible process of equipping effective sustainable ministry leaders! This type of organization is SO needed in order to keep reaching others for Jesus. I’m excited that you are interested in any part of it!
